Glenwood Hot Springs Resort thanks guests and Yampah Mineral Baths partners
Adding a new hot springs option in Glenwood Springs at the world’s largest hot springs pool is no easy task. It involved teamwork, extensive planning, months of construction and significant investment by Glenwood Hot Springs Resort to make a project like Yampah Mineral Baths a reality. The result is five spacious geothermal pools of varying temperatures, a shaded lounging area and a cozy fireplace on the east end. All the pools are filled by the on-site Yampah Spring.
After launching construction in 2022, Glenwood Hot Springs Resort opened Yampah Mineral Baths on May 24 just in time for Memorial Day weekend and the launch of the summer season. The resort appreciates the patience and support from our season and day pass holders, athletic club members and overnight Lodge guests who watched the area previously occupied by a kiddie pool and small parking lot transform into a new hot springs option in Glenwood Springs.
A project of this magnitude wouldn’t have been possible without working closely with the City of Glenwood Springs and having a team of talented staff members and partners. The companies most closely associated with the design and construction of Yampah Mineral Baths includes Cloward H2O, DHM Design, D.M. Neuman Construction, Gould Construction, Ohlson Lavoie Corporation, R&A Enterprises, Top Gun Plumbing & Heating, and Zancanella and Associates. Workers from these companies provided attention to detail and top-notch craftsmanship.
Sitting under the waterfalls in the Falling Waters Pool, trying out the cold plunge pools Inhale and Exhale, and admiring big views of the entire pool area from the infinity edge Sacred Waters make it worth the wait and disruption. There is no extra cost for pass holders and overnight guests at the Lodge to enjoy Yampah Mineral Baths or reservations needed for the pool. Pool guests can come and go as they please throughout the day to explore Glenwood Springs, with summer pool hours running from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Glenwood Hot Springs Resort looks forward to many more years of providing pure relaxation and fun memories for all ages. Opened on July 4, 1888, we are thankful for our rich history, a supportive community and multiple generations of guests as we celebrate our 136th birthday. If you haven’t tried out Yampah Mineral Baths yet as the newest hot springs option in Glenwood Springs, don’t let summer and fall pass by without treating yourself to a visit!
