While filming in Glenwood Springs this September, DJ BBQ immersed himself in local culture for an action-packed 48 hours and stayed along with the crew for several nights at Glenwood Hot Springs Resort. The resort team enthusiastically hosted the LOST IN crew and Pool Manager Taylor Mays guided DJ BBQ on his pool experience.

Visit Glenwood Springs coordinated DJ BBQ’s itinerary that included several iconic locations and activities such as soaking in the world’s largest mineral springs pool and zipping down Shoshone Chutes river tube ride at Glenwood Hot Springs Resort, trying out the horseback riding and clay pigeon shooting at Bair Ranch, and going whitewater rafting on the Colorado River with Defiance Rafting. In addition, he experienced an adrenaline rush on the thrill rides at Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park, delved into the legacy of Doc Holliday and savored the rich flavors at Smoke Modern BBQ.

“Glenwood Springs, Colorado, stole my heart with its unbeatable mix of adventure, culture, and warmth. From the thrill of Bair Ranch's horseback rides to the soothing embrace of the world's largest mineral springs pool, every moment was a melody of excitement and relaxation. Glenwood Springs, you're not just a destination; you’re a symphony of unforgettable experiences. I left a piece of my heart in your mountains, and I can’t wait for the world to witness the magic you hold,” says DJ BBQ.

In addition, Matt Renoux, a longtime reporter for 9News, visited Glenwood Hot Springs Resort on Dec. 11 for an exclusive hard-hat tour of the new east end expansion project with Lodge Manager Loretta Ayala and Controller Scott Gagnepain. He returned early the following morning for a live shot that ran with the story on the Dec. 12 edition of 9News Mornings. While Renoux highlighted the work underway to bring additional mineral hot springs relaxation with five new pools and other features on the east end, he emphasized that it’s still business as usual with the rest of the pool and resort open for enjoyment during construction.
