Our Employee of the Month for October is Reece McMillan. Reece is a Glenwood Hot Springs Resort lifeguard who has been here since April 2023. From the very first, Reece has been single‐minded when it comes to knowing what he wants and figuring out how to get there. He quickly stood out as an excellent candidate for a Team Lead position. He is very dependable, and thorough in his daily duties and has excelled at the Team Lead position. While helping our guests, he remains calm and collected, is kind and reassuring, and does very well giving directions and delegating duties.
Reece is very quick at assessing what is needed and is always professional when offering assistance in an emergency, which will blend well with his goal of becoming an EMT. He is the first to offer assistance when another department needs help and is always willing to step up to ensure the teams are staffed.
Our Pool Manager, Taylor Mays, says, “It is a pleasure to recognize Reece as our Employee of the Month. Reece is a Team Lead Lifeguard here at the Pool, and we couldn’t ask for a more rock-solid example of a leader, day in and day out. Reece has stayed calm, provided excellent care throughout several medical emergencies, and has been one of the first to jump in and assist with any task.
From covering shifts and jumping in to cover laundry hours to seeking out opportunities and areas of improvement throughout each day. Reece is well deserving of this award, and I am grateful to have him on our team.”
