Our Employee of the Month for September is Trish Pickett. Trish is our Head Cashier at Glenwood Hot Springs Resort. Trish was nominated by several managers as Employee of the Month for her steadiness, knowledge and understanding of the needs of our guests and her fellow employees. She offers warm encouragement to all that visit Glenwood Hot Springs Resort and she truly demonstrates integrity in her job responsibilities. Trish is a team player and always has a positive attitude while working no matter what needs done or who she is helping. She started her career at Glenwood Hot Springs Resort as a part-time night cashier and over the years has also worked in the Shop and the Athletic Club. She has been described as “a rock” and “the sound voice of reason.” Pool Manager, Taylor Mays, says “It is wonderful to see Trish recognized as our Employee of the Month. Trish has done a great job overseeing both Cashier and Lobby Ambassador operations during a period that is full of challenges. Trish is the embodiment of leading by example, and I couldn’t be happier to have her as part of our Pool team. Thank you Trish and well deserved!”
Trish says “Thank you for this acknowledgment. For 24 years I have had the pleasure and privilege of working with many great individuals. Meeting and developing relationships with so many visitors and generations of guests and their stories, as well as our ‘regulars’, makes every day a joy to help and serve. This year has been extra challenging with new rules and regulations set forth so the Hot Springs can remain open and operating. The entire property team has worked together to make that happen. I especially thank the Cashiers and Lobby Ambassadors who continue to uphold those rules and still give excellent guest service to all. Keep smiling behind those masks.”
