Our Employee of the Month for March is Jayre Candela. Jayre is one of our front line cashiers at the Pool and has worked for Glenwood Hot Springs Resort since June, 2021. She always arrives with a positive, can-do attitude that is very welcoming. Jayre is helping train new co-workers, which in turn, leads to creating other quality employees. She takes the lead in many situations when dealing with guests or assisting other co-workers, which makes for a smooth running lobby and cashier’s booth when she is on duty.
Jayre was nominated by her supervisors who say, “Jayre has taken ownership of her full-time position, working extra shifts when needed. Her infectious laughter with her co-workers and guests brings the welcome, easy going fun to the front booth. She is a great asset to the team!”
When asked how it felt to be awarded our Employee of the Month, Jayre says, “I want to say Thank You for choosing me to be Employee of the Month. I really appreciate my managers, Trish and Taylor, for always being here and helping us out during bad situations and good situations. I love working with my co-workers and just always having a smile on my face, and making our guests feel welcome.”
