Congratulations!
Our Employee of the Month for June is Elizabeth Parker. Elizabeth is a Lifeguard at Glenwood Hot Springs Resort and started her lifeguarding career in August of 2020. It was quickly noticed that she is someone you can depend on, very hard-working and brings tons of joy to the teams. She has been teaching life guarding classes throughout the summer. All of her students have passed and have become amazing lifeguards themselves, thanks to her calm and practical teaching methods. Elizabeth is someone that willingly comes in when asked, even on her days off, and stays late to make sure the job is done, and done correctly. She is also a recipient of the Glenwood Hot Springs Resort Higher Education Scholarship for 2022.
Pool manager and supervisor Taylor Mays says, “We are proud to recognize Elizabeth as our Employee of the Month. Elizabeth has been a rock solid Team Lead Lifeguard, along with being an excellent Lifeguard Instructor for us this summer. She has really stepped up and embraced her role as an instructor through the American Red Cross, taking pride in teaching and developing the new Lifeguards that you see out on the pool deck today. Congratulations Liz, and from the whole pool team, thank you for all you do!”
Elizabeth says, “Getting nominated as employee of the month was a great surprise! It meant so much to me to see my efforts pay off and I appreciate all of my coworkers and the management team that make this place such a great place to work! The Hot Springs has given me not only a good job and workplace, but also a step up into the career I will be pursuing. I appreciate the nomination and look forward to the rest of this summer!”
