Our Employee of the Month for July is Yoselin Melendez. Yoselin is one of our great cooks at Glenwood Hot Springs Resort and has been working in The Grill since August of 2019. Yoselin has mastered every job in the food and beverage department, from Cashier to Cook, Snack Bar to running the Red Brick Eats. She knows how to do many of the specialized tasks that require patience and attention to detail. She is admired and respected by all because she can do any task and does not complain when asked to work outside her daily assignments. She is very dependable and is always in perfect uniform. Her supervisor, Dana Snyder, says, “A year ago, I would have described Yosi as a very good employee who could do anything in the department. This year, however, she has become hands down, the best line cook in the department! She works well with everyone. I appreciate that she has worked for my department longer than any other teenager.”
When asked how it felt to be Employee of the Month, Yoselin replied, “Surprised and happy! It feels great to be able to see my hard work and loyalty pay off. I am glad that I am able to set a great example for my younger coworkers and inspire them to always stay committed and determined in everything they do.”
