Our Employee of the Month for January is Mark Gibbs. Mark has been a member of our Pool Maintenance Department for 12 years and is a true asset to the Glenwood Hot Springs Resort. A true team player, “Gibbs” is always willing to go the extra mile to help. His willingness to work extra shifts is a valuable asset to the Resort and to his team. Mark was nominated by his pool maintenance team supervisors that have this to say: “He is an example to our other pool operators and is respectful to his supervisors and our guests. Mark has been called on to work multiple extra shifts, even overnight and on short notice, and never once has there been an occasion that he has refused to come in for duty or answer a phone call.” Mark came in after working a full day shift and cleaned the therapy pool in the middle of a snow storm to prepare the Pool for the New Year’s Eve celebration.
When asked how it felt to be chosen as Employee of the Month, Mark replied, “I am very happy to be nominated as Employee of the Month. What a surprise it was! I have enjoyed working at the Glenwood Hot Springs Pool Maintenance over 12 years. I have a great manager and supervisor and my fellow employees are awesome! I look forward to working at Glenwood Hot Springs for many more years. Thank you.”
