Since his first day of work, he always helps out with a positive attitude wherever needed. He’s an excellent mentor for new employees and has valuable input regarding property knowledge and troubleshooting potential problems before they arise. Brad’s ability and willingness to take on more duties while still helping others is noticed by all. His willingness to learn and a desire to give our guests a positive experience speaks for itself.”

Janel joined the Glenwood Hot Springs Resort team in July 2022 and is now our Lodge Lead House person. Lodge Manager Loretta Ayala and Supervisor Emily Neely both say, “Janel quickly became one that could always be counted on to help with anything and to lead the day. She is always looking for ways to be more proficient and organized, and always goes above and beyond to ensure that our guests have the best possible experience while visiting. She leads her team with positivity and a ‘can‐do’ attitude. Janel plays a key role in our inspection process and it has led to increased NPS scores year after year.” Janel says this when asked how it felt to be selected. “I’m very honored and genuinely surprised. I don’t feel I work particularly harder than anyone else, by reasoning of, the staff at The Lodge are all team players. They help me when needed and keep me laughing constantly. I thank my parents for my work ethic. My Mom always says, be on time, pay attention, listen, and push yourself a little more than others. My Dad’s advice is be the first to arrive and the last to leave, and also be the first to offer others help.”
