We want your stay with us to be exceptional. Since 1888, we have welcomed guests from all over the world to the western slope and provided a peaceful oasis in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Things to Know
- The Front Desk at Hotel 1888 will be attended by a concierge 8:00 am – 6:00 pm daily.
- Front doors lock nightly from 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM (10:30 PM in summer).
- Use your wristband or the mobile app to gain entry after hours.
- The Front Desk at The Lodge (located on the north side of the pools on the hillside above) is attended 24×7.

Hot Springs & Pool Access
- Unlimited access to all hot springs pools is included with your stay during operating hours. Enter and re-enter at your leisure.
- Our historic pools include the Therapy Pool and the Grand Pool, still the world’s largest hot springs pool, have been in continuous operation since 1888.
- The Yampah Mineral Baths, newly opened in 2024, offer smaller pools at varying temperatures. These become adults-only after 5:00 pm.
- The Sopris Splash Zone (which includes the Shoshone Chutes tube ride, kids’ slides, and zero-entry splash pad) is open daily Memorial Day through Labor Day, weather and staff permitting.
- Please check in with the Desk Agent at the Athletic Club for your first pool visit each day.
Guest Membership at the Athletic Club
- Your stay includes access to our Athletic Club during normal operating hours.
- Enjoy the weight room, numerous fitness machines, pilates, yoga and spin classes.
- Please consult with the Athletic Club Desk Agent for more information.

Housekeeping
- Your stay includes daily housekeeping.
- To opt out of daily housekeeping simply hang the “Do Not Disturb” tag on your door.
- Hotel 1888 guests receive 10% off at The Shop at Glenwood Hot Springs Resort.
- Wi-Fi password is provided at check-in.

- Hotel 1888 Front Desk is attended daily 8:00 AM–6:00 PM
- The Lodge Front Desk is attended daily 24×7
- Mobile App: Download the app provided at booking and follow the prompts. Once set up, you’ll receive your room number and can use your phone to access both exterior doors and your guest room.
- If you check in at the Lodge, please stop by the Hotel 1888 front desk the next morning to complete your registration.
- Check-out: simply leave your keys in your room.
