Our Adult Clinics aim to help a person acclimate to water with a gentle and patient approach.
Join this class for support feeling safe and comfortable in the water.
For further instruction, we encourage scheduling a Private/Semi-Private lesson.
*The class is free with an admission fee and is a one-time participation.
Parent/Tot Class
(children ages 1.5 to 3 years)
This is a gentle, child-focused, yet progressive approach to teaching toddlers to acclimate to water.
The songs, activities, and skill progressions will encourage skill acquisition and develop a lifelong love of the water.
Swim diapers are required for any child not fully potty trained.
One parent/guardian (age 16+) is required to be in the water every class with each child. Strong swimming skills are not necessary for parents participating in the Parent/Tot Class.
SWIM 101
(beginners ages 4-6 years)
Children must be at least four years old to participate in this beginner-level group.
Children will learn water acclimation, the flutter kick on their front and back, breath control/holding, and an introduction to surface swimming with pop-up-style breathing.
Swim 102/103
(intermediate skills ages 4-6)
At this level, children will build on the skills learned in Swim 101 as their physical development allows them to progress.
They will continue to develop their freestyle kick, breath control, back-kick, and freestyle.
Students must surface swim with pop-up breaths for 15 feet independently to participate in this group.
Swim 201/202/203
(advanced ages 6-12 years)
Children will learn the refined in-line kick on front and back, the backstroke for 25 feet, and the freestyle with side breathing for 25 feet.
To participate in this group, students must perform the freestyle/front crawl with proper arm movement, independently with pop-up breaths.
