The historic
Grand Pool
The world's largest hot springs pool
Our awesome main pool, the pool that started it all, is the Grand Pool. Opened originally in 1888, it is still the world’s largest hot springs pool. Measuring 405 feet long and 100 feet wide at the widest point, it contains 1,071,000 gallons of water, and is kept at about 90° F / 32° C. This is a pool that was made for recreation, so it features a diving area at the west end with a diving board, lap lanes for those who wish to swim for exercise, and plenty of room for fun. Float toys and games are allowed in our Grand Pool, and we have one of the largest lifeguard staffs on duty year-round to ensure the safety of our guests.
Room To Relax
If you’re looking to relax and unwind, you’ve come to the right place. The Grand Pool has plenty of room to get away from it all. Immerse yourself in the soothing, mineral-rich waters renowned for their therapeutic properties, providing a rejuvenating escape from the stresses of daily life. Allow yourself time to slow down and just float.
Room To Play
With designated diving areas for the adventurous, lap lanes for fitness enthusiasts, and ample room for active swimming, our Grand Pool has been home to active outdoor enthusiasts for over a century. We have a long history of entertaining visitors who have come to play. It’s an unforgettable destination and one that some families can remember as an annual pilgramage going back several generations. Come discover it for yourself.
