Glenwood Hot Springs Resort’s Devereux Leadership Award winner for Spring, 2026 is Trish Pickett. The Devereux Leadership Award is presented to an employee who demonstrates exemplary leadership actions, accomplishments and behaviors that align with our vision, mission and values. Trish is our Head Cashier for the Pool and joined Glenwood Hot Springs Resort in August, 1997. Trish was nominated and selected by our Glenwood Hot Springs Resort management team. Trish is also the first person in Glenwood Hot Springs Resort’s history to receive this honor twice!
Our Pool Manager, Taylor Mays, has this to say about Trish. “It is my absolute pleasure to be able to recognize Trish Pickett as our Devereux Award recipient. When talking about leadership; Trish embodies the type of leader that is always positive, eager and willing to assist. A wealth of Glenwood Hot Springs knowledge, and a can-do attitude all in one. She genuinely cares about this Resort, and that shows day in and day out with how she interacts with our guests. It’s our people that make this Resort special, and Trish is a perfect example of someone that continues to foster those memorable guest experiences. Trish was presented with a beautiful blown glass trophy, a framed certificate, a letter of appreciation from Chief Operating Officer Jarrid Hadland, and a $250 check from Glenwood Hot Springs Resort.
Trish says, “It is an honor, as well as, very humbling to receive this recognition. The Glenwood Hot Springs Pool team encourages growth by sharing ideas in an everchanging environment. Mutual respect is key to the success of the Pool team, which allows everyone to shine. For 29 years, I have had the pleasure and privilege of working with many great individuals. Meeting and developing relationships with so many visitors, as well as, our ‘regulars’ makes every single day a joy to help and serve. I wouldn’t trade any of the changes, challenges and celebrations that have occurred over the years. I love coming to work – knowing no two days are the same, and that my efforts can make happy, memorable experiences for generations of visitors and employees. I’d like to thank all of my fellow employees who do their part to make GHSR successful and fun. I would especially like to thank my manager, Taylor Mays, for the encouragement, leadership and trust he has in me.”
