Benefit from Mineral Water

Each hot spring in the Rocky Mountains has its own unique blend of minerals and temperature. The Ute Tribe was among the first to use the hot springs in the area now known as Glenwood Springs and called the source spring “Yampah,” which means Big Medicine. You can see Yampah Source Spring and learn more about its history at Glenwood Hot Springs Resort. It produces an incredible 3.5 million gallons of rich mineral water daily at a temperature of 122°F, not only filling the pools but also providing a geothermal source for keeping all facilities warm, clearing snowy sidewalks and pool decks, and heating town-supplied water for laundry and showers.

Fifteen minerals are dissolved in the super-charged water from Yampah Source Spring. Besides relieving aches and pains, these essential minerals are absorbed through the skin, providing a natural health boost. In addition, increasing body temperature in warm hot springs water helps naturally eliminate toxins, increase circulation and reduce blood pressure.
