Of all the things I like about the hot springs I would have to say that the memories is what I like the best.
The one memory that I always remember and puts a smile on my face everytime is when my son was about 8 or 9 and I had bought him a pass to go down the slides that included a ice cream cone. He was taking a break and wanted an ice cream and a soda. His favorite is root beer.
So I was sitting in a lounger looking at him just waiting for it. Then it happened… he took a bite of the ice cream and a drink of his root beer. And the look on his face was priceless. He goes all excited “DAD I just made a root beer float in my mouth!!!! Try it”!
I told him I know but he was persistent that I try. So I did. That always gives me a smile because even though I knew it was going to happen his facial expression was priceless. That’s why I love Glenwood Hot Springs Pool. It makes priceless memories.
