When I was a little girl about 4 years old, my family and I moved from Wyoming to Eagle, CO. My parents received a large amount of money from my Great-Grandmother to split between us 4 kids. We didn't have a lot of money with all 6 of us, but with this sum of money our parents asked us if we wanted to each have a piece of it or combine it for an annual pass at the Glenwood Hot Springs Pool. The rest is history. Every other weekend we would all pile into our suburban, go grocery shopping at City Market, eat at Taco Bell, and then enjoy the rest of the evening at the GHSP. Now I am a married 31 year old with two beautiful children whom have become fish as we were back then. We get the annual pass every year and about every to every other weekend we are at the pool enjoying the warm water, diving board, slide and most of all.. the "bubble chairs in the Hot Pool" as my kids call them. I know that in due time, my grandchildren will be enjoying the same thing as my kids are today. It's a wonderful tradition we hope continues.
